Camera, Action, SHOOT!

Can guns really shoot people?
Ah... no. 

A gun is a hunk of metal with the ability to fire a bullet. Its the person using the gun, to pull the trigger, that operates the hammer, in order to make the gun go BOoM. If a gun is laying on a table and no one touches it, will it stand up on its own and shoot someone?

Just like a camera. A camera is an inanimate object, a tool really. Just like the gun cant shoot someone the camera cannot take good pictures without the help of the artistic person behind that particular camera. Just like the gun: A camera will not shoot unless a person pulls the trigger, or in the camera's case the button to make the camera go ClICK. You can take fantastic pictures with a simple point and shoot!
No. Its the person using the camera (object or tool) in order to take artistic photos. I know someone who thinks she is the best photographer of all time because she can pose, has a good camera ( as good as you can get with a high quality point-and-shoot), and is good at making duck lips and not smiling.
